As per the advice from the animation school I tried getting into, I've taken up drawing from life some more...here's the first of hopefully many more to come. I picked a wolf, since I, well, love wolves. Yeah, that's it.

Nod Drawing from life is always, always a good idea.. too bad I'm usually WAY too lazy to actually get myself references, teehee.

Anyway, this is really great. Wonderful job on the fur, and I love how you've made the only areas of color his tongue and his eye. For some reason, that really makes this piece stick out to me.

XD Beautiful realism!! Hmm.. Do you mean by drawing from life that you were actually looking at the wolf when you drew it? Either way, this is really awesome. You should have no trouble getting into any school you want ^_^ You have tons of talent!
